Sandy Park to host star-studded ball

Posted by Bev on 22 September, 2014

Visitors to Sandy Park are used to rubbing shoulders with famous rugby players, but an exciting event at the recently redeveloped venue in November will give guests the opportunity to mingle with a host of celebrities from the stage and screen.

The third annual Harry’s Ball, taking place on Saturday 15th November at Sandy Park, boasts a glittering celebrity line-up from cast members of popular reality shows Made in Chelsea and The Only Way is Essex, plus star of Coronation Street Kym Marsh and Hollyoaks’ Ashley Taylor Dawson.

Guests to the ball will also be treated to performances from Britain’s Got Talent’s Twist & Pulse and Devon’s own X Factor finalist Luke Friend.

Harry’s Ball is being held in aid of the Harry Cunningham Trust, a Devon-based charity which helps sick babies and bereaved families and increases awareness of devastating pregnancy complication, Vasa Previa.

Speaking about Harry’s Ball, charity founder and event organiser Niki Cunningham said: “as a charity we are thrilled to bring this exciting line up to Exeter. We really hope this event raises the profile of the charity and the great work we do, as well as fundraising to help more families during a really difficult time".

The black-tie event also includes a three-course meal, silent auction and raffle and tickets start from just £70. VIP and Celebrity Experience packages are also available.
