Comedy Line-up includes a Teletubby and Channel 4 Presenter

Posted by Bev on 14 September, 2015

The next Comedy at the Park takes place at Sandy Park on October 16th with a line-up featuring a former teletubby and a Channel 4 presenter.

Compere for the evening will be Dave Thompson, who’s best known as Tinky Winky in the Teletubbies. Dave has also regularly appeared in and written for shows by Al Murray, Ben Elton and Harry Hill.

The first comedian up will be Neil Cole, who’s described as a ‘relaxed, amiable presence’ with ‘an easy chemistry with his audience’. Neil has a wealth of experience working as a TV and radio Presenter, and an actor, writer and comedian.

Next up will be Mark Dolan, who hosts Channel 4 Comedy show Balls of Steel, amongst other Channel 4 and E4 comedy shows.

The headliner on October 16th is Karen Bayley, who was the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award. Brummie Karen has material with inspired and sparkling punchlines, and has comic timing that is rarely less than brilliant.

Tickets are available for £10, or £15 to include food on the evening, and can be bought at www.sandypark.co.uk/book
